GHB Drug Rehab...Without Rehab
The GHB Drug, GBH, Liquid G, Juice or whatever you want to call it, usually starts as a bit of fun…but is a drug that quickly turns into a hot mess.
GHB drug addiction rates are much higher than reported in Australia because the drug is potent and highly addictive.
If blowing out isn’t as fun as it used to be…we would love to see if we can help.
One of the things that often holds people back from reaching out and asking for help is the belief and society narrative that you will never be able to drink again, or this is going to be something that you struggle with for the rest of your life…
All this isn’t necessarily true, and at Connection Based Living, we have a different approach to the stereotypical narrative.
People often say when they give us a call, it’s refreshing to hear an approach that makes sense…and “I’m glad to hear that I can go back to normal, whatever that means”.

ASK YOURSELF
Do you have Signs & symptoms of GHB addictive patterns
Below is some information on the effects of GHB – the following effects may begin within 15 to 20 minutes of taking GHB and may last for around 3 to 4 hours:
- feelings of euphoria
- increased sex drive
- lowered inhibitions
- drowsiness
- tremors
- nausea
- diarrhoea
The chemical composition of GHB is highly variable. It’s effortless to take too much GHB: the difference between the amount needed to get high and the amount that causes an overdose can be hard to judge.
Overdose
If the dose is too high, you might overdose. Call emergency services straight away if you have any of these symptoms (ambulance workers don’t need to involve the police):
- vomiting
- irregular or shallow breathing
- confusion, irritation and agitation
- hallucinations
- blackouts and memory loss
- unconsciousness that can last for 3 to 4 hours
- death
If you or a loved one is experiencing signs or symptoms of GHB addiction, we would recommend that you get in touch with us and check out our program as this would indicate that some addictive patterns are starting to and have formed with GHB use.
We would love to help and remember this isn’t a life sentence; you can continue leading an everyday life…
We need to change some stuff up.
